You can use the Find and Replace tool in Claro to locate text and replace it with new text. You can use this tool on a single course page or search all of the pages at once.
Find and Replace will perform a search on the following items:
Alt text:
- Images
- Shapes
Content of tables.
Content of text elements:
- Body
- Caption
- Footer
- Header
- Question body
- Question opening
- Subtitle
- Text
- Title
To use find and replace from the Application Menu:
- Click the Application Menu.
- Click Current Course.
- Click Find and Replace.
- Select Current Page or Course from the Search within pulldown menu.
- Enter a word or words in the first box. Check Ignore Case if you want to find all matching text, whether capitalized or not.
- Click Find.
- Occurrences of the word or phrase are displayed. Select each one to see a preview of it in the course.
- Enter a word or words in the second box and click Replace to change the occurrence.
- Click Previous or Next to move back or ahead.
To use find and replace from the Home ribbon:
- On the Home tab, click Find in the Element section.
- Select Current Page or Course from the Search within pulldown menu.
- Enter a word or words in the first box. Check Ignore Case if you want to find all matching text, whether capitalized or not.
- Click Find.
- Occurrences of the word or phrase are displayed. Select each one to see a preview of it in the course.
- Enter a word or words in the second box and click Replace to change the occurrence.
- Click Previous or Next to move back or ahead.
